Teddy bears—named after the bear-loving USA President Teddy Roosevelt—have become a childhood classic. So what could be more perfect snuggled around a baby’s little feet than these warm and fuzzy teddy booties? They’re knitted flat, on straight neediles, in a yarn that comes in lots of lovely colors. I’ve chosen a classic gold, but | think they’d look great in pastel shades, too. The choice, as always, is up to you.
This project can be knitted in two sizes. To help you choose which size to knit, here is a list of the measurements to create the pattern. Remember that knitted items such as hats and socks are stretchy, so will fit a range of sizes. And for most of the socks in the foot or leg by knitting a few rows more or a few rows less.
