Do you want to learn how to crochet a Colored Granny Crochet Sousplats? Here you will learn how to do it step by step.
Just look how beautiful these crochet sousplats in Granny stitch, very colorful!
Execution: I worked with double thread, which is why I used a 3.5 mm needle. Even so, I had to increase 2 rows on the chart, so that the sousplats were 35 cm in diameter. Later I will explain which careers I have added. I also put a single crochet row as an edge, so it doesn’t turn over. I will also explain how I did it. It is perfect!
If the sousplats are made with number 6 string, it is not necessary to increase the 2 rows or make a single crochet on the edge, because the string is thicker and firmer.
Each sousplat begins and ends with one of the colors, with the exception of green. None begins or ends with it. I added it to increase the size.
See the beginning of each sousplat in the photo below:
Sequence of colors in the 1st sousplat:
Orange
yellow
purple
turquoise
dark blue
red
green
Orange
I followed the chart until the 10th row. See the photos below:
At this point, repeat the 10th row from the chart (blocks of 2 double crochets). Notice the first row in red:
I also repeated the 12th row on the chart (blocks of 3 treble crochets). See that the second red row is 3 treble crochet blocks and the two green rows are also.
And here are the two rows with the same edge as the chart.
But I thought the fans were rolling. So, to get firmer and increase the sousplat a little more, I made a row like this, to finish:
17th row (last): 1 single crochet in each of the first 4 double crochets in the fan, 2 chain stitches, 1 single crochet in each of the last 4 double crochets in the fan, 1 single crochet in the next single crochet. Repeat until end of row and close with 1 slip stitch in 1st single crochet. See the points up close in the photo below.
