Do you know the technique of stiffening crochet? because with it it is possible to make the fabric rigid and use it in another way.
This piece can be hardened with thermoline. Which consists of a method to harden crochet by making a kind of “resin” with glue, called thermoline and often used to waterproof fabrics, decoupage and styrofoam. To make thermoline, mix 2 measures of white glue (suitable for crafts), in 1 measure of water and 1/2 of liquid alcohol. Mix well until uniform and your crochet hardening “resin” is ready to use.
